This hospitality, paired with fresh ingredients and carefully crafted broths, gently pulls you into the heart of a contemporary Japanese hotpot experience.

At Arashi Shabu-Shabu, the meal becomes a ritual of discovery: selecting and savoring different soup bases, dipping tender slices of Japanese beef or fresh seafood, then refreshing with crisp edamame or a bowl of miso soup. The variety of noodles—from pumpkin to wheat and glass—adds another layer of texture, while vibrant touches like kimchi and tomato soup hint at thoughtful cross-cultural influences. Every element comes together to create a soothing yet dynamic dining journey, one that encourages sharing stories, quiet smiles, and moments of genuine connection around the bubbling pots.

This is a place where the quality of ingredients and the ease of conversation hold equal value. The gentle care shown by staff during busy moments leaves a quiet impression—small gestures, like stepping in promptly when a little mishap occurs, remind you that hospitality here is as much about human kindness as it is about the food. Whether it’s a weekend family outing or a casual meal with friends, Arashi Shabu-Shabu feels like a well-tended pause—an invitation to slow down, savor the now, and find delight in simple, shared experiences.

had an amazing lunch at Arashi Hotpot in this mall today! Never expected to enjoy it this much with my family—everyone absolutely loved it. The chili oil was perfectly balanced, and everything we ordered was superb. The fresh and premium ingredients definitely made it worth the price. Service was excellent too, especially the Captain who assisted us—super responsive to our requests. A must-try is their prawn meatball (wish I had taken a picture!). For soups, we had Chicken Herb, Tom Yum, and Spicy Milk—all delicious in their own way Overall, a fantastic experience. Definitely a 5/5! Highly recommended!

Can’t even remember the last time I came to KSL City for this—probably more than 10 years ago! I rarely drive into JB these days, but this has always been one of my favourite spots for hotpot. Love that they do individual pots with different soup bases to choose from. I’ll always go for the Tom Yum with Seafood & Meat Combo—less than RM50 and totally worth it. I got burn by boiling hot soup on my thigh while taking food from the hotpot. My husband immediately called for the staff for ice pack and this lady staff name (saw win) she came over. She brought a aloe vera gel and helped me to apply on my burn thigh. Overall the services and staff here are excellent on the F&B services. I will definitely came back again not just because they are nice, the food here was definitely yummy too Do come and try!!!!

Visited on a Friday early evening at 530pm and could just walk in with no wait for our party of 4 adults and 2 kids. Arashi is renowned mid range eatery that serves up individual hotpot with multiple branches within Malaysia. Their City Square and Souhtkey mid valley Jb branches often have some wait time so we were certainly delighted the Ksl branch was spacious and we were seated immediately. They've ala carte ingredients that could be selected and matched with one of the many broth base like spicy milk, Tom yam, herbal chicken, Japan kombu clear soup, kimchi soup, porridge etc. They do also have set meal with 1 soup option for the individual hotpot served with assorted veg, mushroom, and meat/seafood. All soups are refillable! For non Hotpot lovers the eatery do also offers rice option as well as kids meal. We've always found their various ingredients like beef short rib, black pork collar slices, salmon and even chawanmushi and their wide drinks selection to be fresh and all well executed. Average spending per pax ard RM70 for such fresh ingredients, well flavoured broth and certainly stomach fulfilling meal every single time we visited since 10 years ago. Ingredients and soup taste are standardise across various outlets we went to throughout the years. Definitely one of our comfort spot for individual hotpot eatery and recommended for others to go try!
